She has a decade of experience as a progressive, anti-bias educator in independent and public schools and spent five years at nonprofits offering services and advocacy for children and families. Jenn is half of the founding team of Weekend Review Kit, a cannabis review and lifestyle site; has written for numerous print and online media outlets; and directs marketing and advocacy efforts for an herbal products company. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University and attended graduate school at Harvard University and Goddard College. Of Jenn’s many jobs, her favorite is being a mama to her 11-year-old daughter.

chad dean splimm

The other half of Weekend Review Kit and lead teacher at the Lauder-Dean homeschool, Chad earned an MFA in creative writing from Goddard College. While he was a stay-at-home dad, he decided to put his skill and insight to good use by writing about the emerging cannabis industry and its associated culture. He has a passion for helping small businesses, including an indie press, a comic books shop, a health food store, and vertically integrated cannabis operations, start up and thrive.

Kevin is a cannabis activist and new father living in Baltimore, Maryland. Before co-founding Splimm, Kevin was the Deputy Director of Maryland NORML and sat on the Board of Directors for the Minority Cannabis Business Association. Through Splimm Kevin would like to promote positive images of cannabis use as it relates to being a complete parent: “I feel the stigma of parents using pot has got to be examined and dismantled. Too many good parents and families have suffered because of the war on drugs. Splimm hopes to show that parents who use cannabis preside over happy and healthy families.” Kevin earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree in television and media management from Morgan State University.
